In his first 10 years as head men?s lacrosse coach at Syracuse University, John Desko has blazed a trail of excellence that speaks for itself and distinguishes him as one of the most-respected coaches in the nation and the world. Throughout his tenure, he has maintained the winning tradition that is Orange lacrosse. Since replacing Hall of Fame coach Roy Simmons Jr. in 1999, Desko has kept the Orange in the hunt for an NCAA title each and every year and he has brought home the national championship trophy four times (2000, 2002, 2004, 2008). John Desko has hand signed this 8x10 photograph of him with the national championship trophy. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
Syracuse University lacrosse is one of the most storied programs in collegiate lacrosse. Along with the tradition and excellence Syracuse has produced some of the world's greatest players such as Gary Gait, Paul Gait, Casey Powell, Ryan Powell, and Michael Powell. Each of these men is featured on this Syracuse lacrosse legends dynasty collage. The collage is 20x40.5 and comes with individual unsigned 8x10 photos of each player. Beneath each photo is a name plate with career accomplishments. This piece comes double matted in Syracuse orange and blue suede and comes with a black rope frame. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL AUCTION SALES ARE FINAL.
